It’s of the biggest films of the year so far and it was no surprise when we heard that YRF’s leading man Aditya Chopra wanted to buy the rights of Kahaani to remake the film in English. When we asked the film’s director Sujoy Ghosh about this, he said, ”Talks are underway but I can’t reveal anything right now. The discussion is in the initial stages.”
Whether the film will finally be remade in English is anybody’s guess but here’s the surprise. Balan says, “If the film is remade in English, George Cloony will play Bob Biswas’ character.” Since the Telugu and Tamil rights of the film have been sold to Endemol, we bet Ghosh will give away the English rights to Aditya Chopra, who also helped the director write the script.
